A runner, who is no longer able to take part, is entitled to reallocate their place in an event to another participant for a fee of £10, payable to the event organiser. This option is only available prior to race number allocation. The existing runner requests via email here to exchange their place and supplies new runner email address. The new runner is then issued an online entry token upon payment of the £10 fee whereupon the existing runner is replaced in the system with the new runner.
